Note: In 1850, the family resided in Westmorland, Oneida County, New York. In 1860, he resided in Whitestown, Oneida County, New York. His occupation was machinist. Living with him was an unknown servant named Sarah Pardee, age 28. Also, there was a Frances Pardee, age 7. Francis could have been Sarah's child although I have listed her as Ann's child.

Note: Resided in Rochester, Ulster County, New York for a time. The family then moved to Erie County, New York. They lived there during the census of 1880. Four very young children of Samuel and Rhoda are buried in Evans Township, Erie County, New York in East Evans Cemetery.

Bevier, Isaac (b. 9 APR 1821, d. ?)
Note: He married his brother's widow. Lived for a time in Virginia and also Ossining, New York. He enlisted in the Union Army at Albany, New York September 11, 1861 as a private in the New York 44th Regiment. He resided in New Paltz Village, Ulster County, New York in 1870. His brother Ezekiel lived with him in Port Royal, Caroline County, Virginia in 1880. He was Supervisor in New Paltz 1887-1889. He lived in Westchester County, Ossining Twp., New York in 1900. His brother Ezekiel lived with him.

Note: Lived in New York City, Ward #18 of New York County in 1850. He was listed as a merchant. He was a printer by trade. Jacob is buried in New Paltz Rural Cemetery. Jane Esther Wood was a sister of Silas Wood of Kingston.

Note: In 1880, he lived and farmed with his brother Issac in Port Royal, Virginia. In 1900 census he was living with his brother, Isaac in Westchester County, New York. His funeral was held in New Paltz, New York Feb 27, 1903.
