Note: He was in Ward 9 Rochester, Monroe County, New York during census of 1870 living with Maria Defendorf. He was listed as a clerk in Rochester in 1888. Andrew J. lived in Rochester in 1900 and was a grocer. His sister, Laura B. Shaver, lived with Andrew during the census of 1900 &1920. They had both lost their spouses by 1920. In 1910, he resided with his wife and mother in Ward #9 Rochester and he was a grocery clerk. He was a machinist in a machine shop in 1920. In 1930, he had remarried Rosa V. ? and lived in Rochester, New York.
