He was a day laborer in 1900. He was farming in 1910.

In 1888, he was listed in the Binghamton, New York directory as a laborer living at 391 State Street. In 1927, he and his wife Jennie were listed in the Binghamton, NY City Directory. In 1910 & 1930, he lived in Dickenson Village, Broome County, New York. Evidently there was no issue of this marriage.
