She is listed in the Gloversville Directory as a widow living with her sons, Edward and Delbert at 44 School Street in 1890 and 1891. Amanda and Delbert then lived at 69 Spring Street in 1892 & 1893, but Edward was no longer with them. In 1900, she was listed as Jenny and living with Edward and Delbert in Gloversville.

Note: His occupation was making brooms. He was also a school teacher. His wife was one his pupils at one time. In 1900 & 1910, he resided in Linn County, Yellow Creek Twp., Missouri. His mother was living with him. In 1930, the family still resided in Yellow Creek Township, Linn County, Missouri. Clarence was listed as a farmer doing general farming and they lived in a rented house. Five children were still living at home.
