Note: He is listed in the census of 1920 as an orphan living in the Tressler Orphan's Home in Perry County, Tyrone Township. In 1930, he was a lodger in Flint, Michigan. He was a pressman in a printing facility. His obit states that surviving are three nieces, Mrs. Mary Maior of Fenton, Mrs. Helen Cleaver of Battle Creek, and Mrs. Helen Hoffman of Sterling Heights; a nephew, Edward Hoyt of Reading, Pennsylvania.
